Need Something Fun to Do? Try These Local Library Events!

If you're bored and the cold weather's getting you down, check out what's happening at nearby libraries.

Even though the weather's not quite ideal yet, that doesn't mean you have to sit in the house all day! Try these upcoming events at local library branches if you need something fun to do.

Babies in Bloom

If you're a parent or a caregiver with a baby up to two years old then Babies in Bloom would be a good choice. Babies are treated to a half hour of stories and other entertainment designed for developing babies.

Wednesdays, March 2, April 6 and May 4 at 9:45 a.m.

Storytime at the Riviera Beach Library

For parents with kids kids aged two to five, Storytime at the Riviera Beach and Mountain Road branches might make for a great learning experience.

Tuesdays, March 15 through April 19 at 7 p.m. Repeated Wednesdays, March 16 through April 20 at 10:30 a.m.

Manga Mania

If you, a family member or a friend is a fan of Japanese comics or animation then Manga Mania's the place to be. This program is intended for teens.

Thursdays, March 17, April 21 and May 19 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Poetry Contest

All the poets out there are able to sign up for the Mountain Road Branch Poetry Contest between April 11 and April 16 at any time during branch hours. Poems will be displayed in the brancha nd prizes will be awarded. Entries should be one page only with the author's name and phone number on the back.

Family Trivia Night

Compete against other teams for prizes at this trivia competition at the Mountain Road branch taking place on April 12 at 7 p.m. Reservations and walk-ins are both welcome.
