Neuman, Others Help Bring Christmas Early to Anne Arundel
County Executive Laura Neuman and other officials delivered food, toys and clothing to local families in need as part of the county's Holiday Sharing Program.

Although it's not quite Dec. 25, Christmas has already come to some Anne Arundel families, delivered by Anne Arundel County Executive Laura Neuman, Fire Chief Michael Cox, and other county officials and organizations.
In an effort to help local families in need this holiday season, Neuman, Cox and other firefighters delivered gifts, food and clothes to 36 members of local families in Edgewater, Brooklyn Park, Pasadena and Severn over the weekend, according to a press release.
The holiday outreach was part of the county Department of Social Services annual Holiday Sharing Program, made possible through collaboration with the Arundel County Volunteer Firefighters Association and the Anne Arundel County Professional Firefighters Local 1563.
The fire department also participated in ABC2’s Kindertime Toy Drive. More than 20 families and a total of 86 children were sponsored by local fire stations and received donations of clothing, toys and a basket of food, stated the release.
