New Menu Items at Chick & Ruth's Include County Exec, Police Chief Plates

Chick and Ruth's Delly will soon be getting a Laura Neuman-themed menu item.

Anne Arundel's County Executive sat down with the local restaurant's owner this week to talk over the details, and they've decided it's going to be a breakfast item. The popular diner on Main Street features a smorgasbord of menu items named after local politicians.

The Neuman omelette will include spinach and feta cheese with a side of fruit, The Baltimore Sun reports. The vegetarian-friendly plate reflects Neuman's recent dietary change. She began shirking meat around the same time she took office in February.

The political space of Anne Arundel has seen a number of new faces this year, and many of them are also getting menu recognition at the Delly. 

Neuman took over as county executive after John Leopold resigned following a misconduct conviction. 

Kevin Davis took over as Anne Arundel County's Police Chief in July following the resignation of former chief James Teare in 2012, and Larry Tolliver in May. 

Annapolis Mayor Josh Cohen was defeated in the city's recent election, and will be replaced by Republican Mike Pantelides when he takes office Dec. 2.

Both Davis and Pantelides have menu items in store, according to The Sun.
