Love it or hate it, April Fools' Day is upon us. Jokes and pranks are the order of the day, and Pasadena residents and community members have certainly played their share of pranks.
Pasadena resident Sherri McLean said she used a remote control and a mirror to scare her cousin by turning the TV off and on from another room, for instance.
"I remember one time when my brothers and I were younger we woke up our parents with water balloons while they were in bed," said Pasadena resident Steve Babbin.
"Looking back it wasn't a very good idea," added Babbin. "They grounded us for the rest of April!"
"My parents always told me that if we tried to prank each other we'd be in deep trouble," said Jean Harris. "That pretty much kept us from doing anything!"
"I can't recall any good pranks," said Charles Jansky, principal of Bodkin Elementary School, with a laugh. "I went to Catholic school."
