Pasadena Students Win County Science Fair Awards
Several students from Pasadena elementary schools receive awards in the Anne Arundel County Elementary Science Fair held last month.

Several students from Pasadena schools were recognized for their efforts at the county's 2011 Elementary Science Fair last month.
Three Lake Shore Elementary School students participated in the science fair. Elizabeth Busch was recognized for her environmental project: "Which Pasadena Creek is More Polluted?" Brooke Reed submitted her physics project: "What Conducts Electricity?" Andrew Potter received a third place prize for his chemistry project: "Comparison of Grease Content in Potato Chips."
Peyton Brack of St. Jane Frances won a first place prize for the environmental project: "What Scrambled My Eggs?"
Three students from Sunset Elementary School were also recognized. Megan Chiurazzi submitted her environmental project: "Is Grass Greener With More Money?" Ari-Ann Perichino was recognized for her botany project: "Save the Berries." James Price won a second place prize for his environmental project: "Keep Cool."
