Woman's Death Ruled Homicide, Detectives Seek Tips

The death of a 34-year-old Pasadena woman was ruled a homicide. Police need help finding the unknown killer.

PASADENA, MD — Police announced Tuesday that an Anne Arundel County woman's death was ruled a homicide.

Officers identified the victim as 34-year-old Heather Elizabeth Beaver of Pasadena.

Investigators have not identified any possible suspects.

The cause of death was blunt force trauma, with the manner being homicide, authorities said. Blunt force trauma is an injury caused by forceful impact that doesn't penetrate the skin.

Police said they were called for a "possible overdose" in the 1200 block of Lorene Court in Pasadena on April 4 around 6:05 a.m.

Officers said they found "evidence of narcotics at the scene and evidence of a possible assault."

Authorities said Beaver suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.

She died soon after, police said.

Homicide detectives said they executed a search warrant, conducted several interviews and collected evidence.

Officers said the victim's body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy.
