Police Arrest Man in Stabbing After Knife Fight

Police said a man apparently stabbed his relative with a knife after a fight.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a 36-year-old man in Pasadena after a fight involving a knife, according to a police report.

Officers arrested Robert Anthony Emelio, 36, of the 8000 block of Solley Road in Pasadena. He is charged with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

According to the police report, officers arrived at Emelio’s residence and found a 39-year-old suffering from an apparent stab wound to the upper torso. The report indicates the suspect and victim are related, and became involved in a physical confrontation, resulting in the 39-year-old being stabbed with a knife.

The victim was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for treatment, according to the report.
