Police, Family Plead For Help After Man, 22, Injured In Hit-And-Run
Authorities said the crash happened early Saturday on Dorsey Road in Anne Arundel County.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Authorities and the family of a 22-year-old man who was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Saturday are asking for the public's help finding the person who struck him.
Shortly after 2 a.m., Anne Arundel County police responded to Dorsey Road and Aviation Boulevard after receiving a report of a pedestrian who had been struck by a car. According to police, a bronze colored vehicle traveling west on Dorsey Road struck 22-year-old Emmanuel Kyler of Gaithersburg, who was walking in the westbound lanes.
Police said the car's driver fled the scene following the collision.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department took Kyler to Shock Trauma Center, where he remains in critical condition.
In an interview with WBAL, Kyler's mother said he suffered head and spinal cord injuries in the collision. Sheila Kyler said before the crash, her son was in the process of grabbing an Uber after hanging out with friends.

"I ask, beg, if anyone knows anything that can help us find the person who hurt my son, please, please reach out to local authorities," Sheila Kyler said.
