Police Issue More than 50 Citations During Bumper Bash

During the Dobbins Island Bumper Bash on Saturday, 59 citations and 44 warnings were issued.

More than 50 citations and 40 warnings were reportedly issued by police during the Dobbins Island on Saturday.

Approximately 2,000 to 2,500 people attended with around 500 vessels involved, according to Maryland Natural Resources Police (NRP).

NRP and Anne Arundel County Police responded to 14 fights and disorderly situations, arrested three for operating a vessel while intoxicated and arrested one person on an outstanding warrant, according to a NRP release.

NRP also reportedly charged two people with underage possession of an alcoholic beverage and one person with theft.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded to 10 medical incidents, according to the release, while three were transported to area medical centers for minor injuries.
