Dog Bit Child's Nose Off, Police Say
Investigators believe the child may have put his face through a hole in the fence.

Police said a dog reportedly bit off a 3-year-old child's nose in the Glen Burnie area Saturday.
The dog, a lab and terrier mix, was confined to its own yard at the time of the incident, at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Glen Road, Anne Arundel County Police said.
Investigators believe the child may have put his face through a hole in the fence.
Anne Arundel County Fire Department personnel helped locate a portion of the child's nose, and brought it to Baltimore Washington Medical Center where the child was being treated. The child was then transported to Johns Hopkins Pediatrics Trauma Center in Baltimore for intensive treatment.
The dog's owners complied with police, turning over their dog to Animal Control, who will conduct their own investigation into the incident.
