Police: Pasadena Man Tossed $1,000 Bag of Marijuana
The man reportedly threw out the drugs during a traffic stop.

A man from Pasadena threw a bag with an estimated $1,116 in suspected marijuana out the window during a traffic stop in Arnold on Sunday, police said.
Darnell Michael Branch, 23, of Hickory Nut Court in Pasadena, was charged with drug possession with intent to distribute.Â
On Sunday at 5:30 p.m., an Anne Arundel County police officer pulled Branch's Chevrolet Tahoe over at the intersection of College Parkway and Peninsula Farm Road in Arnold for a minor traffic violation.

Officers later learned from a witness that Branch reportedly discarded a large quantity of suspected marijuana from his vehicle before the traffic stop. The suspected marijuana was later found in the area of Jones Station Road and Mago Vista Road.
Police said the marijuana was determined to weigh approximately 111.6 grams with an estimated street value of $1,116.

Approximately $2,100 in cash and the suspect's vehicle were seized by police during the arrest.Â
