Police Search for Clues After 2 Businesses Robbed in 1 Hour

No one was injured in the robberies, police said.

County police are investigating two business robberies on Ritchie Highway that occurred within one hour of each other.

The first robbery was reported at 5:02 p.m. at a Metro PCS Wireless store in Brooklyn Park, located in the 5600 block of Ritchie Highway. According to police, a man entered the business and announced a robbery, taking an undetermined amount of money before fleeing. No weapon was shown or implied, police said in a report.

The suspect was described by witnesses as a white male, in his 30s, approximately 6' tall, average build, with a beard. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and a black ski mask.

The second robbery was reported at 6:01 p.m. at the Pasadena Service Center, located in the 8300 block of Ritchie Highway. Witnesses told police a man entered the business, giving an employee a note announcing a robbery. The suspect was given an undetermined amount of money before fleeing on foot.

The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5'1" tall, with a tattoo on his left hand. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie under a black jacket, and a bandana was covering his face.
