Robbery Attempt Thwarted At South County Gas Station: Police
A gas station robbery attempt was thwarted in southern Anne Arundel County, police said. Officers are still looking for the unknown suspect.
LOTHIAN, MD — A robbery attempt was thwarted this week at a gas station convenience store in southern Anne Arundel County, police said.
Officers said they were called Monday around 3 a.m. to the Dash In located in the 1300 block of Mt. Zion Marlboro Road in Lothian for the attempted robbery.
Authorities said the suspect entered the business, implied he had a weapon and demanded money.

Police said the clerk resisted, and the suspect ran away.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department described the suspect as a male who stood 5’6” and wore dark clothing and a ski mask.
