Shots Fired In Anne Arundel County Neighborhood: Police

Shots were fired in a neighborhood in northern Anne Arundel County, police said. A bullet entered a home, a caller reported.

BROOKLYN PARK, MD — Shots were fired Tuesday evening in northern Anne Arundel County, police said, noting that one home may have sustained damage. No injuries were reported.

Officers on patrol around Cross Street and Wasena Avenue in Brooklyn Park said they heard numerous gunshots coming from the area of Patrick Henry Drive and Alley 69. The gunfire rang out around 7:40 p.m. in a residential community neighboring Arundel Village Park.

Authorities said they received a call while searching the area stating that a bullet had entered a home on Ballman Avenue.

Police said they found several witnesses who described hearing the gunshots, but none had any insights into a suspect.

Officers are still investigating.
