A man trying to sell shoes in Linthicum, MD, via Facebook became a target for armed thieves, police say.

The man was waiting to meet the potential buyers when he was robbed by two men. The seller was punched in the face by two assailants, and his shoes were taken from him, police said.

Anne Arundel County police said they used Facebook to track the suspects down and arrested two teens. The robbery occurred on Wednesday.

Zachary Lynch, 18, of Glen Burnie and a 16-year-old were both charged with armed robbery and related offenses, according to a report.
