Upcoming Events at the Pasadena Senior Center

The Pasadena Senior Center plays host to a variety of events and programs designed to keep seniors' lives active and interesting. Here are a few activities that are coming up soon.

Bingo: There are two bingo sessions each week in April. Tuesday bingo takes place April 5, 12, 19 and 26 at 12:30 p.m., while Thursday bingo takes place April 7, 14, 21 and 28 at 10:00 a.m. Friday bingo sessions are also available April 8, 15 and 29 at 9:30 a.m.

Van Trips: A variety of van trips are available from the Senior Center. On April 19 the van will depart on a lunch trip to Giuseppe's Italian Restaurant at 11 a.m. and return at noon. The last day to register for this trip is April 12. April 29's trip is a trip to Tall Oak's Restaurant from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration for this trip is taking place until April 21.

Line Dancing Workshop: Instructor Wayne Barrett will help members learn the basics of line dancing on April 11, 18 and 25 from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. Signups are available on the Senior Center's touchscreen.

Easter Candy Workshop: This annual workshop, which will take place on April 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. hosted by instructor Gloria Mullinix will teach participants the basics of candy making. Signups are limited to 8 people, open until April 13 and there is a fee of $10.

Sing-a-Long with Danny Marchetti: on April 21 from 1 to 2 p.m., musician Danny Marchetti will supply the music while participants will provide the singing and dancing. Signups are open until April 14.
