Upcoming Events at the Pasadena Senior Center

The Pasadena Senior Center is hosting a variety of interesting events during August. Here's a few of the offerings on hand.

• Trudy Marie and the sounds of Patsy Cline are coming to the senior center on Aug.12 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. If you wish to attend, sign up by Aug. 5.

• The ZOOMobile will be visiting the senior center at 2 p.m. on Aug. 18. Grandchildren will love an afternoon of "Fur, Feathers and Scales" from the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. Sign up at the center's front desk by Aug. 11.

• The Senior Center will host its annual summer picnic for center members at Kurtz's Beach on Aug. 17 with doors opening at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served from noon to 2 p.m. and music will be by Johnny Walker. Tickets are on sale until Aug. 12.
