$189 Million Maryland Lottery Winner Bought Ticket in Severn

Someone in the Severn area may have a golden lottery ticket worth $189 million. If you played, check your numbers.

Time to check your laundry, a Severn gas station sold a $189 million lottery ticket this week.

The winning ticket, which has a cash option of $129 million, matched all six numbers in the Mega Millions Β lottery, including the Mega Ball. Winning numbers were 7, 10, 30, 37, 53 and Mega Ball 1.

β€œWhile the Maryland Lottery is no stranger to big Mega Millions jackpots, we’re very excited to bring this win back to Maryland,” said Maryland Lottery Director of Communications Carole Everett. β€œWe’re looking forward to meeting and congratulating the lucky ticket holders.”

The jackpot ticket was purchased at the Dash In, located on Quarterfield Road in Severn. For selling the winning ticket, the store stands to earn $100,000 in commission.Β 

The winner has 182 days to claim their prize and must present their ticket in person at the Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.
