TSA Choir Serenades Travelers At Baltimore-Washington Airport: WATCH

A video of airport security workers belting out a holiday favorite went viral, with more than 37,000 people viewing the performance.

BALTIMORE, MD — Transportation Security Administration workers at Baltimore-Washington International Airport are spreading cheer this Christmas by serenading travelers with beloved holiday classics.

In fact, a video of one of the TSA choir's performances in which they belt out Mariah Carey's famed "All I Want For Christmas Is You" recently went viral, with more than 37,000 people viewing it on Instagram.

The video also earned a mention on ABC’s "Good Morning America."

When contacted by Patch, BWI Director of Communications Jonathan Dean said the choir has been performing at the airport for several years and is comprised of several TSA employees.

"We work very hard with our airport partners to enhance the passenger experience. Part of that experience includes holiday music," Dean said. "We know that at this time of year, many people are traveling to be with family or friends for the holidays. We want them to have a happy, positive journey."

Those traveling through BWI can catch the TSA choir on Christmas Eve in the A/B Food Court and Arrivals Level, according to the airport's website.

Other artists scheduled to perform this week and next include Creative Nomads, David Nolte, Kaiso The Artist, acoustic group SVV Duo, and the band Russ n’ Paul, also known as The Grey Legends.

BWI's holiday music will likely provide a needed reprieve for flyers dealing with the hustle and bustle of holiday traveler.

According to a AAA holiday travel forecast, 2025 is expected to be the first time on record that the number of domestic air travelers over the year-end holiday period exceeds 8 million.

In Maryland, nearly 2.4 million people are expected to travel during the holiday season, the third-highest volume on record, according to a Baltimore Banner report. Many have already hit the road, joining the more than 122 million Americans expected to travel between Dec. 20 and Jan. 1.
