During the period July 17-24, AVFD received 65 calls for medical and fire-rescue service, including the following:
July 17: At 12: 33 a.m., a stab wound to the torso was reported on the 4500-block of Washington Boulevard in Halethorpe. Crews from the AVFD and Halethorpe career station responded. One seriously injured person was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

July 17: At 10:13 a.m. a motor vehicle accident with injury was reportedon Washington Boulevard at I-695 in Halethorpe. Crews from the AVFD responded. One person with non-life-threatening injuries was taken to a local hospital.
July 18: At 3:45 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with injury was reported on I-695 between Exits 12 and 13 in Catonsville. Crews from the AVFD and Catonsville career stations responded. One person with non-life-threatening injuries was taken to a local hospital.

July 18: At 8:01 p.m., motor vehicle accident with injury was reportedon I-695 between Route 40 and Edmondson Avenue in Westview. Crews from the Arbutus and Woodlawn volunteer stations and Catonsville and Woodlawn career station responded. Five people with non-life-threatening injuries were taken to local hospitals.
July 23: At 4:22p.m., a dwelling fire was reported on the 4400-block of Hillside Avenue in Arbutus. Crews from the Arbutus and Violetville volunteer stations and Catonsville and Halethorpe career stations responded. A kitchen fire was extinguished.
