During the period Sept. 25-Oct. 2, AVFD received 61 calls for medical and fire-rescue service, including the following:

Sept. 25: At 1:43 p.m., a chest pain patient was reported at Diageo Global Supply at 5001 Washington Boulevard in Halethorpe. Crews from the AVFD and Halethorpe career station responded. One seriously ill person was transported to a local hospital.

Sept. 26: At 9:25 a.m., an overdose was reported on the 2700-block of Virginia Avenue in English Consul. Crews from the English Consul, Arbutus and Lansdowne volunteer stations responded. One seriously ill person was transported to a local hospital.

Sept. 27: At 9:46 a.m., a trouble breathing patient was reported on the 4700-block of Washington Boulevard in Halethorpe. Crews from the AVFD responded and transported one seriously ill person to a local hospital.

Sept. 27: At 1:25 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with injury was reportedon the 800-block of South Rolling Road at Community College of Baltimore County – Catonsville. Crews from the AVFD and Catonsville career station responded. One person with non-life-threatening injuries was taken to a local hospital.

Sept 28: At 3:51 p.m., a building fire was reported at Frederick Road and Wade Avenue in Catonsville. Crews from the AVFD and Catonsville, Halethorpe and Westview career stations responded to find smoke from a crematorium,
