During the period Dec. 4-12, AVFD received 67 calls for medical and fire-rescue service, including the following:
Dec. 6: At 9:29 a.m., a chest pain patient was reported on the 300-block of First Avenue in Lansdowne. Crews from the Lansdowne and Arbutus volunteer stations responded and transported one seriously ill person to a local hospital.

Dec. 7: At 8:47 a.m., a motor vehicle accident with rollover was reported on I-695 between Exits 11 and 12 in Catonsville. Crews from the AVFD and Catonsville career station responded to find property damage only.
Dec. 7: At 5:29 p.m., a building fire was reported on the 1900-block of Brady Avenue in Halethorpe. Crews from the Arbutus, English Consul, and Violetville volunteer stations and Halethorpe and Westview career stations responded. A garage fire was extinguished.

Dec. 8: At 11:21 p.m., an unknown critical illness was reported on the 900-block of Circle Drive in Arbutus. Crews from the AVFD responded and transported one critically ill person to a local hospital.
Dec. 9: At 5:15 p.m., a sick person was reported on the 5300-block of East Drive in Arbutus. Crews from the AVFD responded and transported one seriously ill person to a local hospital.
