A 7 p.m. parade down Oregon/East Drive formally opens the annual <a href="http://www.arbutusvfd.org/carnival.htm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department</a> carnival. The week-long carnival features games, rides, a beer garden and perennially favorite carnival foods. The carnival will be in operation from 7-11 p.m. until Saturday, July 23.
