Patch Boards: An Easy Way to Instantly Connect with Your Arbutus Neighbors

One of the new features on Patch is "Boards."

Located at the top center of the Arbutus Patch home page, the "Boards" enable you to make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something.

On the "All Boards" page, you can check out the latest posts from your neighbors. You can also select a specific board, depending on what interests you:

• On the "Announcements" Board, you'll see posts like this one about a crab feast happening this August.

• The "Buy, Sell, Trade" Board works just like a newspaper classifieds section. It's a great way to find what you want locally, such as this information on a waterproof iPad case.

• The "Business Updates" Board provides local shop owners with a chance to reach out to customers, telling them about specials or store hour changes, or offers such as this from a children learning center in Arbutus.

• The "Speak Out" Board gives your voice a forum. Disagree with your neighbor? Don't just stew over it; write about it. You can also engage your neighbors—like this one about our country's economic health.
