Police Blotter: Burglaries in the Area

July 12: Between Monday night and Tuesday morning, someone stole two bikes from the backyard of a house on the 3100 block of Freeway Road in Riverview.

July 12: On Tuesday morning, someone found a scooter that had been set on fire in the middle of of a baseball field at Halethorpe Elementary School. The incident occurred sometime overnight on Monday into the early morning hours of Tuesday.

July 12: Between 8:15 and 9 p.m., someone walked into the front yard of a home on the 2000 block of Northeast Avenue in Halethorpe and stole three flags and the flagpoles from the front porch of the home.

July 13: Between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m., someone entered the fenced-in yard of a house on the 3100 block of Ryerson Circle in Riverview, cut the lock off and stole a blue and white scooter from the back yard.

July 13: Between 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m., someone forced open the back door of a house on the 900 block of Winsap Court in Riverview and stole cash and jewelry from the house.
