Police Blotter: Burglaries in the Area

The following information is provided by the Baltimore County Police Department.

Jan. 2: Between 1-9 a.m., an unknown person pried open the shed on a property on the 1400-block of Claridge Road in Halethorpe and took a propane welder, generator, compressor, tool box and lawn equipment.

Jan. 3: At some point since 11 p.m. the previous evening and 5 a.m., an unknown person stole an aluminum ramp leading from the driveway to a garage from a residence on the 2400-block of Smith Avenue in Lansdowne.

Jan. 4: At some time since 11 p.m. the previosu evening, an unknown person broke into an unlocked vehicle parked on the 5900-block of Oakland Road in Arbutus and took a GPS device, a camera, gift cards and two $1 bills.

Jan. 4: At some time since 8 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person entered a car in a driveway on the 5800-block of Heron Drive in Arbutus, but nothing was taken.

Jan. 5: Between 2:30-3:15 p.m., a white male was seen leaving a home on the 2600-block of Daisy Avenue in English Consul. About $200 in cash and change were taken.

Jan. 5: Between 9-10:39 a.m. an unknown person broke into the dront door of a residence on the 2900-block of Lakebrook Circle in Lansdowne. Items were moved around, but nothing was stolen.

Jan. 5: A some time since 9 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person cut the fence in the rear of a business on the 3300-block of Hollins Ferry Road in Lansdowne and took four batteries from vehicles.

Jan. 6: At some point since Dec. 27, an unknown person attempted to enter a residence on the 3000-block of Michigan Avenue in Baltimore Highlands by breaking the glass on the basement door, but did not gain entry to the property.

Jan. 8: Between 1 and 3:40 a.m., an unknown person entered a residence on the 400-block of Bigley Avenue in Lansdowne through an unlocked rear window and took a video game system and two video games.

Jan. 8: At some time since 8 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown suspect entered a residence on the 100-block of Twin Circle Way in Baltimore Highlands and took two laptop computers, and a wallet containing identification cards and a small amount of cash. No signs of forced entry were noted, but the rear door deadbolt was unlocked.

Jan. 8: Between 4:30-8:30 p.m., an unknown person broke the side door glass of a residence on the 2300-block of Alma Road in Lansdowne, entered the property and took a video game system and a box containing about $50 in change.
