Police Blotter: Burglaries in the Area
The following is based on information provided by Baltimore Police Department.

Mar. 5: Between noon and 1:30 p.m., an unknown person gained entry to a residence on the 3000-block of Lousiana Avenue in English Consul through a side door and took $15 in cash and five keys from a night stand.
Mar. 6: At some time since 6 p.m. the previous day, an unknown person attempted to break into a business on the 2700-block of Hammonds Ferry Road in Lansdowne by jamming a lock and prying a door. Although a door window glass was broken, the business was not broken into and nothing was stolen.
Mar. 7: At 1:15 a.m. surveillance video at a business on the 3000-block of Hoffman Avenue in Halethorpe captured two suspects removing 15 pieces of metal piping and leaving in a silver Toyota pickup truck. The suspects were described as a white male 20-40 years old who is around 6' tall and 250 pounds with a large build, wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt; and a black male 20-40 years old who is around 6' tall and 200 pounds with a medium build, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants.

Mar. 8: At some time since 11 a.m. the previous day, an unknown person gained access to a business on the unit block of Alco Place in Lansdowne through an opening above a rear bay door and tool 22 steel folding chairs, five chain saws and two table saws.
Mar. 8: At some time since 5 p.m. the previous day, an unknown person broke the window to a garage of a residence on the 2800-block of Louisiana Avenue in English Consul and took a power washer, an air compressor and a power drill.

Mar. 8: At some time since 11 a.m. the previous day, an unknown person attempted to gain entry to a residence on the 3000-block of Louisiana Avenue in English Consul by breaking a back window, but was not successful.
Mar. 8: Between 8:10 a.m. and 5:40 p.m., an unknown person entered an enclosed rear porch of a residence on the 500-block of Huntsmoor Road in Arbutus to gain access to the kitchen door, which was pried open. Among items taken from the home were a Wii game system and 17 games, a laptop computer, wallet, gift cards, jewerly and a piggy bank. A neighbor saw a black two-door Chevy in the driveway and a suspect on the back porch at around 10 a.m., but did not call police at the time. The suspect was described as a white male about 22-23 years old who appeared to be tall and wore a navy hoodie and blue jeans.
