"She Had a Twinkle in Her Eye"

Lansdowne junior Bridget Herold, 16, struck by car and killed Dec. 8.

Bridget Catherine Herold, 16, a junior at Lansdowne High School, was struck by a vehicle and killed near her Baltimore Highlands home on the afternoon of Dec. 8.

She was a typical teenage girl who wrote poetry and short stories, preoccupied with shopping and make-up, said her mother, Patty.

"She was a good girl," Patty Herold said. "She loved people and was always respectful. She really just loved life. She had a twinkle in her eye and the best laugh."
