Teen Killed in Lansdowne
Tyran Dasean Smoot, 18, was shot early Aug. 30 on Silerton Court.
A shooting on the unit block of Silerton Court in Lansdowne shortly after midnight on Aug. 30 killed an 18-year-old man, according to Baltimore County police.
At around 12:10 a.m., police were called to a report of shots fired, and found Tyran Dasean Smoot, 18, shot in an apartment.
Smoot was transported to St. Agnes Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses told police that they saw a black male come from around the corner and begin firing a gun at the victim.
According to police, the shooting was not random; they believe that the suspect and Smoot knew each other. The case is still under investigation.
