Two-Car Collision Shuts Southwestern Boulevard

Incident happened around 8 p.m. Monday night.

A two-car collision briefly shut down Southwestern Boulevard Monday evening. The incident happened at around 8 p.m. in the 4000-block.

One SUV with front-end damage, apparently initially traveling southbound on Southwestern Boulevard came to rest on the center median, while a second SUV with rear-end damage crossed the lanes of opposing traffic and stopped in the curb lane of the southern side of the street.

Debris littered Southwestern Boulevard in both directions.
