Baltimore Man Killed In DC Shooting, Suspect Wanted: Police

Avery Miler is wanted for the fatal shooting of Aryeh Wolf, 25, of Baltimore, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

BALTIMORE, MD — Police are looking for a man accused of fatally shooting a Baltimore man in Washington, D.C. about two weeks ago.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened Aug. 10 just before 4 p.m. along the 5100 block of Call Place, Southeast.

Once on scene, police said they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The District of Columbia Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital where he ultimately died.

Police have identified the shooting victim as 25-year-old Aryeh Wolf of Baltimore.

Police said the suspect is 27-year-old Avery Miler, of Southeast, D.C. He can be seen in the photos below:

He is wanted for first-degree murder while armed (gun), police said.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
