Baltimore Ravens Part Ways With Defensive Coordinator
Coach John Harbaugh said of the defensive coordinator: "Now it is time to pursue other opportunities."
BALTIMORE, MD — The defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens will be parting ways with the team, according to head coach John Harbaugh.
Don Martindale has held the title of defensive coordinator for the past four years. His experience with the team spans even longer.
Harbaugh called him a "major contributor to the success of our defense since 2012," in a statement Friday night.

"Sometimes the moment comes, and it's the right time," Harbaugh said of the departure of Martindale, adding: "Now it is time to pursue other opportunities."
