This Baltimore Shop Has The Best Ice Cream In MD: List

BALTIMORE, MD — As summer starts to heat up in Maryland, what better way to beat the hot temperatures and cool down than with a cold scoop of delicious ice cream?

A new list compiled by Reader's Digest believes those looking for the perfect scoop should head to The Charmery in Baltimore.

Located at 801 W. 36th St., The Charmery is within walking distance from Johns Hopkins University and boasts experimental ice cream flavors including the Maryland Mud, Saturday Morning Cartoons and Mango Lime Hot Sauce. It's also known for offering a Maryland staple in dessert form: Old Bay ice cream.

The Charmery also has a second location at 6807 York Rd. in Towson.

The Charmery is open every day from noon until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from noon to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
