Funeral Service Set For 3 Baltimore Firefighters
The three firefighters killed in a Baltimore City rowhouse that collapsed will be remembered at the Baltimore Convention Center.

BALTIMORE, MD — Three Baltimore firefighters who died battling a house fire Jan. 24 will be memorialized this week with a joint funeral service.
Lt. Paul Butrim, Lt. Kelsey Sadler and Firefighter/Paramedic Kenneth Lacayo will be remembered with a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 2.
The service will take place at the Baltimore Convention Center at 1 West Pratt St., Baltimore, MD 21201.

Interment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 East Padonia Rd., Timonium, MD 21093.
A wake will be at the Maryland State Fairgrounds at 2200 York Rd., Timonium, MD 21093.

The three died in a two-alarm fire in the 200 block of South Stricker Street, where crews were called just before 6 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 24, officials said. The building collapsed during the firefight.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and there is a $100,000 reward for information.

Viewings For Firefighters
Visitation for 33-year-old Sadler and 30-year-old Lacayo will be 2–4 and 6–8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1, at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home, 7922 Wise Ave., Dundalk, MD 21222.
Those gathering to remember 37-year-old Butrim may visit 3–8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 3, and 9 a.m.–noon on Friday, Feb. 4, at Schimunek Funeral Home, 610 West MacPhail Rd., Bel Air, MD 21014.
