Maryland State Fair Shifts Schedule To 3 Long Weekends: Organizers
The Maryland State Fair announced it will be open over three long weekends beginning Aug. 25, giving fans two more days to visit.

BALTIMORE, MD —When the 141st Maryland State Fair arrives in a few months, you'll have more time to enjoy all the fun rides, entertaining shows and good food.
Maryland State Fair organizers announced this week that they are extending their dates for 2022 to over three long weekends.
The fair will be open this year on the following dates:

- Thursday, Aug. 25 - Sunday, August 28
- Thursday, Sept. 1 - Monday, Sept. 5
- Thursday, Sept. 8 - Sunday, Sept. 11
Last year, the fair ran from Thursday, Aug. 26 through Monday, Sept. 6, which was Labor Day. So instead of two weekends to enjoy the fair, guests will also get an extra weekend to do so.
Entry details and event schedules have not been finalized yet, according to the Maryland State Fair.

According to the fair's website, more than 500,000 people visit it each year, and it's been entertaining guests since 1879.
The Maryland State Fair is at 2200 York Road, Lutherville-Timonium, MD 21093.
