Guinness Baltimore Blonde Beer No Longer Sold In Stores: Report
Guinness' parent company announced this week the beer would be sold exclusively at a Maryland brewery in Halethorpe.
BALTIMORE, MD — The parent company of Guinness announced this week that its Baltimore Blonde beer will no longer be sold in stores, according to a report.
More than a year after Diageo announced it would no longer brew the beer in Maryland, Guinness' parent company said Wednesday that Baltimore Blonde will now be made and sold exclusively at the Open Gate Brewery in Halethorpe, the Baltimore Banner reported.
The decision also appeared to end a partnership with New York-based brewer FX Matt, which took over production of Baltimore Blonde in June 2023. The move came two months after Diageo announced it would close its production facility in Halethorpe after just three years.
