Local Industry Leaders Honored at Baltimore Museum of Industry

Six honorees will be celebrated for their pioneering efforts in the world of labor and innovation in Baltimore

The Baltimore Museum of Industry (BMI) is proud to announce a new cohort of honorees for Redefining Industry. Join the Baltimore Museum of Industry on Wednesday, April 2nd from 5:30-8 p.m. as Redefining Industry reimagines a 20-year tradition of honoring industry leaders at the BMI for the 3rd year.

While the world of labor and innovation continues to evolve locally and globally, Redefining Industry celebrates Baltimore’s economic and social vibrancy through the extraordinary individuals leading the way. As an institution at the intersection of labor and innovation, the BMI has carefully considered the 2025 cohort of honorees. These individuals, their businesses and their organizations are not only the future of work, but the future of Baltimore. The BMI is thrilled to honor the following;

  • Dr. Elizabeth Clayborne, MD, MA | NasaClip + UMD
  • Dr. Vonnya Pettigrew, HonD | Root Branch Media Group
  • Kelly Schulz | Maryland Tech Council
  • Jeff Cherry | Conscious Venture Lab
  • Jay Steinmetz | PowerUp Connect
  • Steven White | DIFFERETREGARD

The museum’s Executive Director, Anita Kassof, commented on Redefining Industry’s return and continued success: “I’m thrilled that the Baltimore Museum of Industry is bringing Redefining Industry back for its third year. This event embodies what the BMI is all about—celebrating the innovators shaping Baltimore’s future while honoring the city’s rich industrial past. Our honorees' work is making a real impact on Baltimore’s economic and social landscape. It’s an inspiring night, and I can’t wait to celebrate their contributions.”
