BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A man who wishes to only go by the name “Big Fish” hooked a $25,000 prize in the Maryland Lottery recently by playing his little brother’s license plate numbers in eight drawings.

The lucky Pick 5 ticket, for eight 50-cent straight bets, covered the midday and evening drawings from March 29 through April 1. His winning numbers – 2, 6, 6, 6 and 4 – struck gold in the evening drawing.

According to lottery officials, "Big Fish" plays Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5 and Multi-Match games daily.

At the moment, “Big Fish” reportedly has no definite plans for his prize. He says, however, he may pay some bills, get some car maintenance done or give some money to his five siblings.

The venue that “Big Fish” purchased his ticket from, Liberty Wine & Spirits at 3526 Brenbrook Drive in Randallstown, will also benefit from his win.

The Baltimore County retailer will receive a $250 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling the $25,000-winning ticket.
