MD Local Hero Goes Above And Beyond To Rescue Stray Cats, Kittens

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. We’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission comes from Toni Thomas who nominated Patti Sprinkel of Parkville, Maryland, who nurses sick stray kittens, as well as rescues and neuters stray cats through Lucky Cat Rescue.

She is so devoted and selfless in her tireless work to save kittens and cats and her compassion and sacrifice is with few resources is amazing!

She is one person with few resources who for years has worked hard with her small volunteer organization Lucky Cat Rescue to ease the suffering of kitties.
