Ravens President Dick Cass To Retire

The Baltimore Ravens president will retire after nearly 20 years, officials said.

BALTIMORE, MD — The president of the Baltimore Ravens will retire, the team announced Friday night.

After 18 years as the president, Dick Cass is moving on from the Ravens, officials said.

Sashi Brown will be the team's next president, according to owner Steve Bisciotti.

Brown will join the Ravens in March and make the transition to president, effective April 1, the Ravens said in a statement.

Brown worked as an executive with the Cleveland Browns from 2013 to 2017, and before that, he was the vice president and general counsel for the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2005 to 2012.

Most recently, Brown was the president of Monumental Basketball, overseeing operations for the Washington Wizards, Washington Mystics and Capital City Go-Go.

Brown, who is 43, will handle the same responsibilities as Cass, such as personnel, business ventures, coaching, operations, sales and communications.
