Bel Air Nurse Wins $50K On Scratch-Off Lotto Ticket
A Harford County nurse has won $50K on a scratch-off lottery ticket. She plans to pay off bills, lottery official said.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A nurse from Bel Air usually buys one or two scratch-off tickets just for fun when she's at the grocery store.
But last week, her "just for fun" lotto ticket ended up winning her $50,000.
“It took me a while to be convinced that it was real,” the registered nurse told Lottery officials.

Her current favorite scratch-off ticket is the Monopoly X50 game, which ended up being the big winner.
“I always pick it if the store has it. Monopoly tickets have been pretty lucky for me,” she said.

The Harford County winner plans to pay off bills and treat herself to something special to celebrate her good fortune, though she hadn’t decided yet what that will be, she told lottery officials.
“This whole thing, from realizing that the $50,000 was real, to pondering what I will do with the money ... has been so exciting. Every step of the way,” she said.
