510 Johnny's Building Slated For Auction
An auction is set for July for the building that housed a large restaurant and bar in Bel Air.

BEL AIR, MD — The building that housed 510 Johnny's is headed to auction.
After more than a decade in business, the restaurant closed in late May. It kept the building in use through June for catering events that had already been planned.
Closure of the business followed its parent company Logos Inc. trading as 510 Johnny's filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on May 9. Its largest debts are a $510,000 business loan to Sandy Spring Bank and a disputed tax claim of over $230,000 to the Maryland comptroller, court filings show.

In April, court records show Hill Management took the restaurant to court over failure to pay rent. The case was dismissed.
Alex Cooper Auctioneers is handling the sale of the over 17,000-square-foot building, which has opening bids starting at $300,000, the Baltimore Business Journal first reported.
