Back To School, LeapReader, Clutter Support: This Week in Bel Air

Barnes & Nobel will hold a LeapFrog reading session on Monday at 11 a.m.

Here's a look at some events happening around town this week: 

Back to School
When: Monday
Where: Harford County Public Schools
Details: Students in Harford County elementary, middle and high schools return to the classroom Monday.. Pre-K students head back to school on Wednesday, August 28. Be sure to use caution on the roads this week, as students will be out and about early in the morning. 

LeapFrog LeapReader - Reading, Writing & Dinosaurs
When: Monday, 11 a.m.
Where: Barnes & Noble
Details: Children ages 3 to 7 will learn how to use LeapReader to build reading, writing and listening skills with an interactive book reader, writer and audio player. 

Clutter Support - Sign Up
When: Tuesday, 9 a.m.
Where: Harford Community College
Details: Come to a one-hour session with your organization problem of choice: tackling the photo mess, setting up a home filing system or clearing out the junk room.

When You and Pain are Joined at the Hip (or Knee)
When: Wednesday, 11 a.m.
Where: Fallston Branch Library
Details: Get answers, individualized to your needs, at this free class taught by MedStar Union Memorial Hospital orthopedic educator and physical therapist, Nicole Tannahill.

Grandparents Day at the Hays House
When: Thursday, 1 p.m.
Where: 324 Kenmore Ave. in Bel Air
Details: Bring the grandchildren for a tour of the historic 1788 house, and a visit wildlife rehabilitates and their feathered and scaled critters.
