Basket Bingo Fundraiser To Support Animals Cared For At Humane Society Of Harford County

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Support the animals cared for at the Humane Society of Harford County by playing a lively round of Basket Bingo Aug. 2.

The event will be open to all ages and features themed basket prizes donated by local businesses and animal lovers. Back by popular demand this year will be the gift card board with $500 in gift cards to area businesses that will be raffled off to one winner. The final game of the night will be a 50/50 and last year, the winner took home over $300.

Basket Bingo will be held at Level Volunteer Fire Hall, 3633 Level Village Road in Havre de Grace. Doors open at 6 p.m. and bingo starts at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $20 in advance and include a packet of 20 games and a chance to win door prizes throughout the evening. Additional bingo cards, special game cards and raffles can be purchased at the event.

Bring items from HSHC’s wish list and receive a free raffle ticket for each item you bring. To purchase tickets in advance, visit harfordshelter.org/bingo. Tickets also are available at HSHC, 2208 Connolly Road in Fallston, or by calling Erin Long at 410-836-1090, x106. The kitchen will sell light dinner fare, snacks and baked goods.

Businesses and individuals can sponsor or donate themed items to fill baskets, such as gift cards, jewelry, professional services, tickets to area attractions, etc. Donors will be recognized in the event program. Monetary donations are accepted as well. Donations are tax-deductible and net proceeds from the evening support vital programs and services including HSHC’s foster program, rescue transports, veterinary care, spay/neuter surgeries and more.
