Bel Air Bobcats Aim For Humility, Goodness
Bel Air High School held its 2013 graduation ceremony Tuesday evening in the school's gymnasium.
The first class to call the new Bel Air High School building home all four years of their high school career crossed the stage Tuesday, becoming the newest batch of Bobcat alumni.
Bel Air's Class of 2013 is one of the few in Harford County with the privilege of graduating at their home school.
Senior class speaker Sarah Schulte thanked her teacher, Jonathan Andrews, for helping her realize the world is vast, and yet full of hope.

Schulte said she developed a humbled outlook and widened perspective on the world thanks to her teacher. While her classmates may have learned different lessons in high school, she encouraged them to carry their own lessons beyond the halls of high school.
Senior speaker Julia Streett encouraged her fellow graduates to work toward being "a good person."

"Even if we become worthless and destitute we will be good, and that will be noticed," Streett said.
