Bel Air Downtown Alliance Offers Micro Grants On Main Street
The alliance is offering grants to help businesses impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

BEL AIR, MD — The Bel Air Downtown Alliance is offering micro grants to businesses on Main Street that have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Officials with the community development organization say the program will offer a one-time award of $5,000 limited to one business entity per owner.
Grants can be used for rent or mortgage payments, utilities, payroll and overhead. It cannot be used for expenses before March 15, 2020.

To qualify, businesses must be in the Main Street District and in good standing with the state as of Dec. 1, 2020. They also need to show a loss in revenue from the COVID-19 pandemic, among other qualifications. Businesses can also have received other grants due to the pandemic.

Grant recipients must agree to report basic employment and business data to the Bel Air Downtown Alliance.
Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
