Bel Air Farmers' Market To Feature 3 New Vendors For 2022
The Bel Air Farmers' Market is opening this weekend. Three new vendors are added to the lineup.

BEL AIR, MD — The Bel Air Farmers' Market is opening this Saturday, and a few changes are in store.
First, the hours are shifting from 7 to 11 a.m. to 8 a.m. to noon.
The decision to open later came after inquiries from customers at the 2021 market, according to Bel Air Farmers' MarketManager Andrea Kestner.

Based on the number of inquiries about later hours, she said the board conducted an email survey and found that the community wanted the market to be open 8 a.m. to noon. The organization also reviewed trends in attendance during the 2021 market.
"Times do change, and it was based on the survey," Kestner told Bel Air Patch. "Last year there were still people coming in at 11 o'clock."

While the market officially opens at 8 a.m., Kestner said vendors are able to open earlier, so people who liked coming earlier are "absolutely" welcome to do so.
This year the Bel Air Farmers' Market will have a few extra offerings.
"We are welcoming three new vendors: Chesapeake Cheesecake, Little Boy Bakery and Pancibus," Kestner told Patch in an interview on Tuesday.
Chesapeake Cheesecake is a Forest Hill-based business that sells cheesecakes.
Specializing in pies, cakes and other macarons, Little Boy Bakery is a Howard County sweets shop.
Pancibus is a salsa-making outfit headquartered in Bel Air.
The Bel Air Farmers' Market is a producers-only market, meaning all the vendors make their own products. See the full list of vendors.
Several art vendors will be set up in April and November at the market, including on opening day.
Bel Air will be also giving away free seedlings at the market on April 9, which is Arbor Day in the town, Mayor Kevin Bianca announced during Monday night's Town Hall meeting.
This year face coverings will not be required, and people are allowed to bring their pets, which they were also able to do in 2021.
"We're back to normal," Kestner said.
The market was voted Harford County's Best Farmers Market of 2021 by Harford magazine.
"That was a really nice thing to see," Kestner said, "and we appreciate it."
The Bel Air Farmers' Market is in the parking lot of the Mary Risteau Courthouse at 2 South Bond Street. Its new hours are 8 a.m. to noon. However, some vendors may open earlier.
