Bel Air Police Association Refutes Endorsement Claim
The Bel Air Police Department union took a position regarding endorsements in the 2022 election.

BEL AIR, MD — The union representing the Bel Air Police Department is not endorsing any candidates this election season, despite what one publication says.
Bel Air Police Association Local #229, which includes the officers in the Bel Air Police Department, said: "Our union membership has not endorsed any candidate in the State's Attorney race. We don't intend to," in response to an Aegis article that said Aberdeen, Bel Air, Harford and Havre de Grace officers endorsed state's attorney challenger Alison Healey.
The association will not be making any endorsements, based on the desire of its membership.
