Bel Air To 'Walk A Mile In Her Shoes' Saturday

The Harford County community will stand together in the face of sexual violence against women Saturday during an event that puts men in women's shoes—literally.

SARC, a non-profit agency located in Harford County working to end domestic violence, sexual violence, child abuse and stalking, will hold its 5th annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday in Bel Air.

Participants in the event have raised money leading up to Saturday's walk, when women and men alike will don high heels as a sign of solidarity and march through downtown Bel Air.

Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. at MaGerk's Pub, 120 S. Bond Street. Walker registration is $25.
