Bel Air's Jamell Cited As Star Student: Here’s Why

BEL AIR, MD — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

Jamell is such a kind hearted and smart young man. He is the oldest of 4 siblings and he is such a great leader. He is so very helpful and respectful. He works hard and has a 3.0 GPA. While maintaining good grades, he has played football since 5 years old and he works very hard at his sport. His most recent seasons was with the Bel Air Terps football team where he played both offensive and defensive positions. He is also a great trumpet player.

Anyone that meets Jamell will tell you that he has a beautiful and kind spirit
